The students explored the difference between 2D and 3D and the ability to make artworks look more life like by employing these skills. They started by learning how to draw cubes and rectangular prisms using one and two point perspective, then the strategies used to draw orbs and ellipses, they also learned how to utilize shadow.
In the last drawing sessions they employed all of these skills, plus how to shade using different colour value, that by adding extra details such as the packaging labels builds character to the drawn objects and adds to the over all realism of this observational drawing.
